How does it works?

To do things in a better way, a website will be created where different groups working on important things like train, road and electricity will share their plans and work together.

The Gati Shakti portal seeks to make it easier for different parts of the government to work together and share information. This will help them approve projects faster and make it easier to move things across the country.

As per a scheme called Gati Shakti Master Plan, we are going to build big things like roads, ports, airports, railways, waterways and internet connections across the country. Some of these projects are called Bharatmala, Sagarmala, UDAN and Bharat Net.

The three main goals of the Speed Power Masterplan are: Making it easy to move things and people, using resources well, and fixing problems like poor planning. It will also create a lot of jobs for people.

To address this issue, efforts have been made to coordinate all the cables, pipes, etc. to work together. could be laid simultaneously. Some changes have been made to make it easier and faster to get things approved and get all the necessary permissions.

Over the years, the government has ensured unprecedented focus on infrastructure through a holistic approach. This ensures that everyone involved in large construction projects will have a constrained goal of completing work on time. 6 Pillars of PM Gati Shakti

There are six important pillars of PM Gati Shakti,

Comprehensiveness:
- It will include all the existing and planned initiatives of various ministries and departments with a centralized portal or website. Now, each person in each department can see what the other department is doing. When they plan and work in projects it helps them work better together.
Prioritization:
- This will help different groups work together to decide which projects are the most important.
Optimization:
- The National Master Plan will help the various groups to plan the projects as to what is left out.
- This plan will make it easier to choose the best way to move things from one place to another without spending too much time or money.
Synchronization:
- Sometimes different groups of the government do not talk to each other and this takes more time in the work.
- PM Gati Shakti is like a conductor that helps all the different parts of the government work together and stay in sync. This will make things easier and faster.
Analytical:
- GIS will keep all the information in one place and use special tools to help people plan things in a better way. It will contain a lot of different types of information to make it easier to understand.
Dynamic (dynamic):
- All those in charge of different parts of the government can now see how well projects are going, even if they involve more than one sector.
- Through the GIS platform, images from space will be able to see how things are changing on the ground.

PM launches Gati Shakti Yojana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Gati Shakti National Master Plan and Multimodal Convention in Delhi on 13th October 2023 which is ushering in a new chapter in governance. The Gati Shakti 1 digital platform will bring together 16 ministries, including railways and roadways, for integrated planning and coordinated execution of infrastructure connectivity projects.

This will include infrastructure schemes of various Ministries and State Governments like Bharatmala, Sagarmala, Inland Waterways, Dry / Land Ports, UDAN etc.Economic zones such as textile clusters, pharmaceutical clusters, defence corridors, electronic parks, industrial corridors, fishing clusters, will be covered to improve agricultural connectivity and make Indian businesses more competitive.

Speed up with the Gati Shakti yojana

Infrastructure often remains the foundation on which countries can transform themselves.
